The New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) has partnered with Wonderschool to create Elevate New Mexico Child Care.
Elevate New Mexico Child Care enhances support for child care businesses across the state. This partnership is made possible through funding from the Coronavirus Relief Supplemental Support Act (CRSSA).

What is this program?
This is a free program to help child care programs across New Mexico make more money, reduce administrative tasks, and relieve the stress that running a business can bring. You’ll be a part of a cohort of other Family Child Care professionals and business coaches to help you implement software tools, refine your business goals, reduce any debt you may have, and find ways to increase your revenue and bottom line.
Is this really free?
Yes, it is free! New Mexico Child Care Centers, licensed and registered homes, get access to Elevate New Mexico Child Care tools for free.
I don’t have time to learn how to do this
Spending a few hours a week (2-3!) to learn and use the software will save you time day in and day out. Meeting with your coach to analyze your data and improve your business and quality practices will improve your program and your bottom line.
What are the qualifications?
Must be one of the following:
- Family Child Center (FCC)
- Registered Home
- Family Friend Neighbor (FFN)
- Micro Centers (50 children per day)
- Newly Licensed Program
English isn’t my native language
We have program staff and coaches who are Spanish-speaking. And the software is available in Spanish.
I’m worried that the technology will be too complex for my program
