The Early Childhood Education and Care Department (ECECD) is providing Notice to terminate the rulemaking, noticed on October 20, 2026, regarding the amendments to 8.9.3 NMAC – Child Care Assistance; Requirements for Child Care Assistance Programs (updating the child care assistance copayment schedule) and 8.9.4 NMAC – Child Care Licensing; Child Care Centers, Out Of School Time Programs, Family Child Care Homes, and Other Early Care and Education Programs (aligning zoning requirements).
Therefore, pursuant to Subsection C of Section 14-4-5, NMSA 1978, the rulemaking noticed on October 20, 2026, is hereby terminated.
