New Mexico PreK FY27 Grant Notice of Funding Opportunity

Purpose:

ECECD is seeking applications from eligible providers to renew, expand, or create new PreK slots and classrooms statewide, especially in areas of the state where there is a lack of high-quality PreK for children and families.

The NM PreK Grant is a competitive, multi-year grant for the following eligible providers:

Local Education Agencies (LEAs) or state charter schools
Child care (center and home-based) programs currently licensed by ECECD
Tribal early childhood education programs
Head Start programs (Region 11 (Tribal) and Region 6)
Schools operated by the U.S. Bureau of Indian Education (BIE)
