PURPOSE OF THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:
The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations for the procurement of a financial and compliance audit. The Early Childhood Education and Care Department (“ECECD” or the Agency) is requesting proposals from qualified firms that have demonstrated past excellence and knowledge in providing financial and compliance audits to state agencies.
ECECD is seeking a contractor to conduct a financial and compliance audit for applicable statements and schedules of the Agency and other financial and compliance audit services as further described in Section IV.A for the period from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, with the option to extend for two successive one-year terms based on the cost stated in the original proposal. This procurement will result in a contractual agreement between two parties; the procurement may ONLY be used by those two parties exclusively.
